The Só Dança Alina II P90 Black are pointe ballet shoes that offer unprecedented technology and innovation.

The Alina II pointe shoes have a deep vamp, offer durability, en pointe balance, pre arched shanks and an elastic drawstring, and are ideal for longer toes.

The BOX:

The Box is reinforced around the metatarsals, which means no more pinching! Because the Box and Shank Housing are made of durable (but flexible) material, you can expect the shape and feel to last 2.5 times* longer! Your shoes will feel great for a long time!

Specifically, the Box is made up of two different densities of thermoplastic that create THE RING and the Shank Housing. This feature provides a gradation of reinforcement that allows the dancer to have a unique feel when wearing the pointe shoes. It maintains support in the areas needed (i.e. the metatarsal area) and flexibility that highlights the natural movements of the dancer's feet. The Shank Housing is methodically designed to provide optimal flexibility through tendu but also support for the dancer when en pointe. For example, think of an eggshell. When pressed together at the top and bottom, it can withstand excessive pressure/weight. Conversely, when pressed together at the sides, the egg will easily break.

The Housing Shank:

Through innovative engineering, Só Dança created the thermoplastic material to work in favor of the dancer's needs. The ribs in the Shank Housing allow the dancer the flexibility they need, but will lock in place when en pointe.

The Shank:

Since the Shanks are made of different densities of thermoplastic, the Só Dança Elektra Tech is able to fully adapt to the dancer's feet as well as their needs. As the material can be heated and cooled multiple times without affecting its integrity, dancers can use it for an additional customizable benefit that highlights the natural curve of their feet.

FUN FACT:

The Alina P90 is designed for dancers with longer toes. The comfortable platform provides stability en pointe, while the Housing Shank of the upper and Box construction allow for a beautiful roll. Soft wings provide support through the metatarsals and create a beautiful smooth look through the toes. The Alina II P90 offers full coverage for those dancers who need a higher vamp.
